Dudley Watch Co., Lancaster, Penn., model 2 masonic pocket watch, 12 size, 19 jewels, stem wind and set nickel plate movement, with lever escapement and cut bimetallic balance, the gilt cocks and bridges in the form of various masonic symbols, in a yellow gold filled, hinged back and snap bezel open face case, with glazed cuvette, Arabic numeral, single sunk metal dial, blued steel hands, serial #2421, 45mm, c1925.
CONDITION:
CASE: Minor dings and pin pricks; Minor scratches on outer surface of case; Fine scratches on inner surface of case; Rear cover lift spring needs adjustment, opens back to 45 deg; Cover extends beyond 90 degrees when opened, 100 deg; Crown worn. DIAL: A few minor scratches; Specks of dirt / dust. HANDS: Shortened, minute. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches and marks on plate; Regulator with patch of oxide; One bridge screw with oxidation and minor pitting; Barrel bridge lacking gilding; Barrel bridge screws refinished. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks) .
